Dakshinkali, Pharphing and Kirtipur are historical and cultural sites of Kathmandu. We can see the different temples, handicrafts, several monasteries, newari traditional culture, farming, landscape & lifestyle of Nepali people during the tour.

Dakshinkali temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali. The name itself is composed of “Dakshin” means south and “kali” means black female. Devotees sacrifice chickens, goats, sheep and many more as an offering to the goddess. There you can see the shakti sect Hinduism activities.

Pharping  also has major tourism attraction sites of Kathmandu valley which is 20 km far south of Kathmandu. Pharping is known as the sacred site of Yangleshö, famous for both Hinduism and Buddhism where Guru Padmasambhava attained the level of a Mahamudra Vidyadhara. There are two major practice caves in Pharping blessed by Guru Padmasambhava, the Asura cave and the Yangleshö cave. Wander around the caves and explore the Vajrayogini temple and the monastery around there. It is the holy site for Buddhist pilgrimage. It is on the way to Dakhshinkali.

Kirtipur is one of the oldest newari settlements of Kathmandu valley. It is located on a hill to the southwest of kathmandu. Kirtipur offers exquisite architecture, hilltop temples and sweeping Kathmandu city views. The Kirtipur town is full of cobblestone streets, old brick houses with carving doors and windows. Kirtipur is the least visited heritage site by tourists in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Kathmandu visiting Dakshinkali, Pharphing and Kirtipur. Our guide and driver will pick you up from Hotel at 09.00 am. Evening after finishing the sightseeing, our guide will drop you at the Hotel. Trip ends.
